Chill Cast in Static Metal Molds
Anotec’s proprietary chill casting process assures a tubular anode that will outperform the competition.
NSF 61 Listed
Safe for use in potable water applications.
ISO 9001 Quality Control
Anodes are manufactured, inspected, and tested in accordance with stringent procedures to ensure high quality.
Special Features
- Thicker Walls & Expanded Head
Improved impact resistance and shipment reliability. Extra thickness at the connection zone where you need it. - Reliable Cable Connection
A proprietary zinc connector is hydraulically pressed into an internal taper at the anode center. The cable connection can withstand 2200 lb force.
- Performance
Accelerated corrosion tests confirm that Anotec chill cast anodes yield more ampere-years per pound than the competition. Their compact diameter also enhances deep well utilization. For general guidance on design calculations, click here. - Low Connection Resistance
Anotec’s quality controlled assembly process ensures a connection resistance less than 0.001 ohms.
Notes
- Nominal Discharge
0.75 – 1.0 Amps / sq ft
(8.1 – 11 Amps / sq m)
Reduce discharge current density in soils with osmotic drying potential.
- Accuracy
All dimensions, surface areas, and weights represent nominal values. - Tolerances
Weight: +/- 3%
Diameter: +/- 6 mm
Length: +/- 25 mm

The anode sled is manufactured, inspected, and tested in accordance with stringent procedures to ensure high quality.
Specifications
- Six, high silicon cast iron anodes, each weighing 315 lb (140 kg), are securely mounted on a corrosion-resistant frame.
- A secured name plate lists the sled serial number and manufactured date. Customer information is optional.
- The sled frame includes 4 lifting eyes for ease of installation.
- Yields more than 2000 Amp-Years of protection. For general guidance on design calculations, click here.
- The sled weighs approximately 2000 kg (4400 lb), depending on the size and length of shore lead cable. The footprint is nominally 2.1 m x 2.0 m x 0.6 m (7 ft x 6.5 ft x 2 ft).
- The durable sled frame consists of two PVC pipes and three connecting fiberglass-reinforced pipes, all filled with reinforced concrete.
- Includes dual shore lead cables (redundancy) in a protective rubber hose.
